This is our annual fund raiser concert and we've invited two extraordinary guitarists, John Sheehan and Charles Mokotoff to share their gifts with us. Both of them are true masters and lifelong students of the instrument. Once a year on the last Sunday of July we honor the legacy of Bill Perry who was born in the Village of Chester NY and died on July 17, 2007 in Sugar Loaf, in the Town of Chester NY.
This is the 4th annual Bill Perry Day. It starts at noon and continues until 6PM. Bring a blanket, some chairs, a cooler and enjoy an afternoon of great music. At 5:45 we will present 3 Music for Humanity Scholarships, one in honor of Bill Perry, to local graduating high school seniors to help them continue their music education. This is a free event. Please join us and some of the best blues musicians as we honor Bill Perry, one of the greatest blues guitarists ever, who died before his time. | |||||||||

Only 200 seats available for "the concert" of the fall season. This concert fund raiser will be held in the Senior Center at 36 Bridge St in Montgomery NY on Saturday night October 23rd. Doors will open at 7PM for the silent auction and raffle. The concert will begin at 8PM. This concert is a Broadway-Opera Fusion featuring songs, arias and duets including highlights from Man of La Mancha, West Side Story, La Traviata, Don Giovanni, Porgy and Bess, and more... "Both John and Julie are experienced and wonderful singers who complement each other beautifully. I've heard them together (doing this music) and it was one of the finest musical events I've ever attended. This concert is worthy of a performance on Broadway, Lincoln Center or Carnegie Hall" Barry Adelman, Co-Founder, Music for Humanity Tickets are $20 General Admission paid in advance.
