On Sunday November 23rd from 5:45 - 9PM will be our main fund raiser at Bodles Opera House in Chester NY.
You're
invited to attend a special concert to lift your spirits and make a
difference in the life of a child. Please pass this information on to
people who love music & children. The concert will feature the
area's finest musicians and singers who have generously donated their
time for this event. They include:
Claudia Cummings - opera
and Broadway star who made the song "Climb Every Mountain" from the
Sound of Music one of Broadway's most memorable songs. Claudia has also
formed her own Opera company: operacompanyofthehighlands.org
Steve
Margoshes - Steve composed the music to the Broadway show "Fame" and he
is an incredible pianist. Steve will play his own set and

Julie
Ziavras - Julie can go from singing Puccini to Joan Baez (she sounds
better than Joan). And I hope she'll give us a taste of both at this
concert. She is one of the most talented musicians/singers I've ever

Marji
Zintz - a singer who can touch your heart like no one else. Marji has a
special vocal quality that goes straight to your heart. She covers Joni

Sheehan - unquestionably the finest finger picking guitarist this side
of the Mississippi. John also has some classically influenced originals

Joanne Barclay - Great Highland Bagpiper will share with us the magical sounds of one of the world's oldest instruments.
Wayne Fugate - a master mandolinist
How
much would you pay for this concert? Because we want and expect a full
house we are accepting reservations for only only $10 a ticket. Tickets
will be $20 at the door. The date is Sunday evening November 23rd, 2008
at Bodles Opera House in downtown Chester NY. Doors open at 5:45 for
Silent Auction, Dinner & Drinks. Music from 7-9PM. To reserve seats

We are sponsoring this event in conjunction with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Orange County (http://www.mentorachild.org/) and we will split all ticket sales and funds from the silent auction and gift baskets with them.

you'd like to contribute something to the silent auction or the gift

The silent auction items will be limited to 10-15 pieces with a clear
value of at least $100. Gift basket items will be part of 1-3 gift
baskets. All donations will be acknowledged. Thank you for your
generosity. Tickets will only be $10 because we'd like to fill
Bodles that evening.
